Just responded to @fr33domlover in chat who noticed that Forgejo Yunohost was broken.
What I am doing in delightful-fediverse-apps (which is input to fediverse.party website) is to track Fedi account contact points on the curated list. This may be done in
delightful-forgejo
too, so it is clear who to ping in case of broken stuff like this. How do you mean broken? The maintainers are in the page.
Idk, fr33domlover asked this. But it is just an example. It is not always clear who to contact for a project, and having this present in the curated list can be helpful, just the same as you have a TEAMS.md list with contacts for Forgejo.
The contacts are here. Do you have a suggestion on how to make them more visible?
No, this is not what I mean. If you check delightful-fediverse-apps you will notice that project entries sometimes have a Fedi account link, e.g.
If you go the Codeberg repo, you cannot find how to contact Mike McGirvin, so the fedi handle here is handy.
If I understand you correctly, the maintainers list should be augmented by a Social
MediaNetwork handle or e-mail address? This way saving one click (because the profile holds that information as well)
I would like to have some way of maintaining contact with the people responsible for the things listed here. When new versions of Forgejo are released, many of these projects will require at least somewhat timely updates. Perhaps we can consider adding a stale section where we can move stuff that gradually gets abandoned by it's maintainer.
(The reason I bring up this concern is that many projects on the awesome-gitea list have not been updated since many major Gitea releases)
No, entries in the list, i.e. Forgejo-related projects that are listed. See the delightful-fediverse-apps list for an example and the comment above yours.
@crystal yes, make the list as handy as possible, so it provides benefit. Mine was just one suggestion for doing so.
